An interesting Christmas Gift

…. This was “A Field Guide to American Houses”. It seems we live in a smallish “Millennial Mansion”.  It seems like a real shame, the lack of a logical regional style here in Denver and across the country in new houses. There is a bland uniformity and the general lack of imagination of much housing.  I guess architecture costs money and builders build down to a price. And with enough A/C and heating any house design can be made at least comfortable. Also, we do love our cars.
